Women's Abode Room~(442) 245-7173‬

Coming home ~ A body Room

Women’s Abode Room was built by hand, shaped with the same patience and intention that ultimately guides the work within it. Supported by many who believed in the vision—including a father and mother whose forever hearts helped orient its purpose.  The work within is grounded in Rebecca's study of trigger point therapy and making peace with the moments of life that left her feeling broken.  This room exists for women to return to their bodies and gently explore the deeper structures beneath their pain.

Meet Rebecca

I’ve been a massage therapist since 1999, but my love for this work started earlier—back in college, when I was a bodybuilder receiving massage and realizing how deeply skilled, intentional touch could support healing on many different levels. Over the years I’ve specialized in trigger point therapy (my favorite), and clients often tell me my hands feel like magnets, finding the places where pain or old stories are hiding. I’ve always believed the body is a storyteller, holding the pages of our journey long before we speak them.

In 2020, during a season of collective trauma, I felt a quiet call—all hands on deck. I knew my part was to work with women, offering a space where they feel safe enough to let go, soften, and reconnect with themselves. I’m trained in trigger point therapy, Swedish and relaxation massage, and manual lymph drainage, but the heart of my work is presence.

I’m a wife of 18 years, a mom to two teens, and someone who loves walking, gardening, and long talks with friends. My deepest passion is family. Supporting women through hands‑on bodywork is my way of strengthening the family unit—one woman at a time, one nervous system at a time, one home at a time.
